Analyst – M&A / Corporate Finance (m/f/d)

ox8 Corporate Finance offers highly professional corporate finance advisory services with a focus on M&A and private equity/ growth financings.

Our growing team, consisting of dynamic and highly motivated consultants, is based in our office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Our goal is to advise entrepreneurs, investors and management teams on groundbreaking transactions and to convince and inspire them with our work. Every single project is implemented with great passion. Since our foundation in late 2018 we have successfully closed more than 40 M&A and growth financing transactions with a total volume of approx. EUR 1.5bn across various tech-related sectors.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN ANALYST

You will work directly with our partners and senior professionals on the generation and execution of complex M&A/ corporate finance projects. Your tasks will include in particular:

• Preparation of pitch presentations, teasers and investment memoranda
• Preparation of integrated financial models, financial analyses and company valuations (DCF, trading and transaction comparables)
• Preparation of sector, company and capital market analyses as well as company profiles
• Due diligence activities (setting up virtual data rooms, Q+A)
• Independent research activities on companies, markets, potential investors/ buyers and M&A targets
• Preparation of studies and analyses on our focus sectors

YOUR PROFILE

• Successfully completed studies in business administration or a related discipline with outstanding academic performance
• Relevant practical experience in the field of investment banking/ corporate finance/ M&A/ deal advisory is an advantage
• Sound knowledge in the areas of company valuation and accounting
• Very good analytical, conceptual and communication skills as well as team spirit and high motivation
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of MS-Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
